BEWARE OF ADULTERATED BIBLE VERSIONS

Brethren & Friends:

Is there really a great deal of difference in the many Bible versions that are available in the market? To many, including authentic, genuine, true bible believing Christians, the matter of bible versions is immaterial, therefore, not important. The implication is that, there is really no danger in using any version. Many contend that whatever version you are using, all Bible versions are God’s Word.

To these people, it is not important how such versions came about, who published them, and whether or not such versions are adulterated or corrupted versions of God’s Word, the Holy Bible.

It is very unfortunate, to say the least, that many pastors, teachers of the Bible do not find anything wrong with many of the adulterations/corruptions made on the precious pure Word of God. Many are just plain lazy to check it out. And so many are ignorant, thus lack knowledge.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The kind of pastor a church has is the kind of people you will have. The Biblical principle applies: “Like Priest/Pastor like people”. They seem to be oblivious to these ungodly, I say demonic influence of these corrupted copies of so-called bibles.

Webster dictionary define the word ADULTERATE (vt) to make impure or inferior, etc by adding an improper substance. One can also substract, the same result will follow.

The word CORRUPT is defined by Webster as (vti) to make or become corrupt; to infect; to taint.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Only God’s Pure, Untainted Word will have this effect in the lives of people. Anything that is adulterated and corrupted will have the opposite effect. When it comes to eternity, the eternal consequence is heaven or hell.

Study Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

To Pervert means (vt) to corrupt; to misuse; to distort. One can also say that to pervert is to change by addition or subtraction. When God’s Word is perverted, an addition or subtraction is made to lessen the impact of God’s Pure Word. The end result to both the one who perverts God’s Pure Word and the one who believes such a perverted Word is an eternity of hell. Let everyone be BEWARE!

Pastors, teachers, ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are not only responsible but accountable to the God of Holy Scriptures, God’s Pure Unadulterated, Uncorrupted & Untainted Word. This is so,simply because people follow what these men preach, teach or proclaim. Oftentimes they don’t even check or confirm whether what they heard really is God’s pure Word.

Most are not like the christians in Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Let me conclude this posting by giving an analogy. When a person gets sick, one usually goes to the doctor for consultation. The doctor will always ask questions about the condition of the patient. He then examines the patient and by different tests conducted on the patient, he renders his diagnosis. He then prescribes the necessary drugs/medicines he believes will treat and relieve his patient of the malady or illness.

Any wrong or mis-diagnosis will result in the wrong prescription being given. Result may even be fatal to the patient. Many doctors have been sued of such malpractices. Or

The doctor may prescribe an adulterated, corrupted, tainted drugs or medicines, the result too can be fatal to say the least.

This is what happen when the words preached and taught are tainted, corrupted because they have been adulterated. This writer rests his case.
